A local client is seeking a Help Desk Analyst for a 6 month contract engagement with the potential for extension.

The Help Desk Analyst will work on the Mobile Device Support team is supporting roughly 6,000 mobile devices that have been deployed to employees in different locations across the United States. The devices used are the Samsung Galaxy FTL and Samsung Tablet E devices. The client has plans to roll out new devices in the near future but no specific date has been set at this point. The client would like this individual to learn their devices and applications so when the roll out occurs, they will be familiar with the applications and use of the devices. These devices utilize the Verizon network but it is possible in some locations, the client use the AT&T network. These Analysts will work the 8:00 am - 5:00 pm shift but should be flexible in cases where they will need to work until 7:00 pm to support the West Coast.

Responsibilities:
* As new devices are deployed, work with the users to assist them with the setup and installation of the custom software for the device (each shipment contains an instruction video to explain the necessary steps for setup)
* Provide on-going phone support regarding the use of mobile devices; this can include things such as walking the users through how to use specific applications or tasks such as how to set-up e-mail or the basic use of the device
* Assist users with device issues as needed; software related issues are handled by another group

Required skills:
* Strong problem solving skills, and know how to pay attention to detail
* Excellent phone and customer service skills
* Ability to multi-task in a fast moving environment
* Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Preferred skills:
* Prior Helpdesk experience, specifically with mobile devices
* Experience installing general applications on the mobile devices such as e-mail
* Ability to troubleshoot mobile devices and to distinguish between device issues and software/application issues

Education:
* A Bachelor degree is preferred
